Ants and spiders
Ants and spiders, from the trail back to the source
Most ants you see in the kitchen are the end of a trail from outside. We follow the trail, treat where it starts and tell you where it got in.
Signs you have it
A line of small ants along a baseboard or a counter edge from spring to fall
Piles of fine soil beside the foundation or a patio slab
Webs in garage corners, window wells and the eaves
A large dark spider under a woodpile or in a seldom-used shed

What we do
Four steps, in this order
- 01
Inspect
We walk the foundation, window wells, garage and the damp spots indoors.
- 02
Identify
Which ant, which spider, and where the trail starts.
- 03
Treat
Outside walls and entry points first, then inside where the report says to.
- 04
Prevent
Gaps, damp corners and the habits that bring them back, written down.
Your part
Before and after the visit
Before
Wipe up crumbs and sweet spills, and keep pet food off the floor overnight
Clear the foundation of mulch, leaves and stacked wood
After
Keep the garage and window wells free of cardboard
After the visit, leave outside treated areas undisturbed for the time we give you
Questions about this one
Do I need to leave the house?
Usually not. We tell you before we start whether anyone should stay out of a room, and for how long.
How many visits will it take?
Some ant problems clear in a visit or two, and others take a season. We say what we expect in the estimate, and it varies.
What if the pests come back?
If the pest we treated for returns within 60 days of a visit, call us and we come back and treat again at no extra charge. It covers the pest named in your report and the areas we treated. It doesn't cover new pests, an entry point we flagged that hasn't been sealed, or a visit we couldn't finish because we couldn't get in.
