Mice and rats
Mice and rats: seal the gap, then trap
Mice get in through gaps about the width of a pencil. We find the gaps, seal them, set traps for what's inside and come back to check.
Signs you have it
Scratching in a wall or ceiling at night
Small droppings along walls, in drawers or the back of a pantry
A gnawed corner on a food box or a nest of shredded paper in the garage
A gap at the garage door, a vent or a pipe where daylight shows

What we do
Four steps, in this order
- 01
Inspect
The outside walls, the garage door, the roof edge and every pipe and vent.
- 02
Seal
Steel mesh and sealant in the gaps we find, which stops the next ones coming in.
- 03
Trap
Traps set where the signs are, and checked on a schedule.
- 04
Check back
A second visit to confirm it's quiet, and to look for new gaps.
Your part
Before and after the visit
Before
Move stored boxes away from the garage walls so we can reach them
Put food in lidded containers, and don't leave pet food out overnight
After
Don't clean up droppings before the visit unless we've told you how
After sealing, keep doors closed and watch the weather strips
Questions about this one
When should I call?
Most calls come after the first cold nights. If you're in a new house, the fall visit is the one to book early.
Will you handle clean-up?
We tell you what we found and how to clean it up; we can quote the clean-up if you want us to do it.
What if the pests come back?
If the pest we treated for returns within 60 days of a visit, call us and we come back and treat again at no extra charge. It covers the pest named in your report and the areas we treated. It doesn't cover new pests, an entry point we flagged that hasn't been sealed, or a visit we couldn't finish because we couldn't get in.
Ready to book?
Call or request a visit. We'll say the arrival window when we book.
