How pricing works
We don't post prices, because a house with ants in the kitchen and a house with mice in the garage aren't the same job. Here's what decides the number and when you see it.
What decides the price
The things that change the number for a house.
The size of the house and the lot, including the basement and the garage
What we find: which pest, how many and how far it has spread
How many visits it takes
Access: a locked attic, a crawl space door that's stuck, a gate
Whether you want a one-time treatment or the first-year plan
What the estimate includes, and what it doesn't
A written list of what we found, what we'd do, how many visits and what each costs. It leaves out repairs to the house, like a rotted sill, and anything on a neighbor's property.
What happens at the visit
We walk the outside, the basement or crawl space, the garage and the attic hatch with a flashlight, and say what we see as we go. The report follows by email. If there is a visit fee, it's on the estimate before we come, with a note on whether it comes off the work.
How and when you pay
After each visit, by card or check. A plan is billed per visit or per season, and the schedule is on the estimate before you agree.
When you get the number
In writing, before any treatment, as a flat price for the job. If we find something new, we tell you first, and you decide before it's added.
Two ways to start
One visit, or the first-year plan
Neither is the right answer for everyone. Here's how they differ.
| First-year plan | One-time visit | |
|---|---|---|
| Visits | First-year planA walk-through, then a visit each season | One-time visitA walk-through and one treatment |
| Best when | First-year planYou just bought and want the year laid out | One-time visitYou have one problem to solve |
| The report | First-year planA report after each visit, and a look back at month twelve | One-time visitOne report for the visit |
| Contract | First-year planWritten on the estimate; stop by calling or texting before the next visit | One-time visitNone |
| If pests return | First-year planThe same terms after every visit | One-time visitRe-service within 60 days, on the terms below |
Our re-service promise
The terms, in full
If the pest we treated for returns within 60 days of a visit, call us and we come back and treat again at no extra charge.
- It covers the pest named in your report, in the areas we treated
- It doesn't cover new pests, or an entry point we flagged that hasn't been sealed
- It doesn't apply to a visit we couldn't finish because we couldn't get in
- Results vary by pest and by house, and a few take more than one visit
